Exo Terra’s Pro range is built for keepers who want more from a glass enclosure: lockable front-opening doors, a lockable removable top, patented condensation-reducing ventilation and tidy cable management, in sizes from compact invertebrate setups to full-height paludariums. The tall X-Tall models add an extra-deep waterproof base with a built-in drain, so they’re ready for water features, false bottoms and heavily misted rainforest builds.

Leak tested by our team. Every Exo Terra Pro enclosure we sell is leak tested in store before it goes home with you, so you can build with confidence.

Features across the range

• Lockable front-opening doors with a spring-loaded push latch, for easy access without disturbing your animal from above.
• Lockable, removable top with a stainless steel mesh that lets UVB and heat through.
• Patented adjustable ventilation: vertical airflow helps prevent glass fogging, with a dirt collector that stops sand and dust blocking the vents.
• Self-closing cable and tube inlets for neat lighting, heating and misting setups.
• Raised bottom frame to fit a heat mat underneath.
• Leak tested by Biota Studio before pickup.

Extra features on the X-Tall Pro Paludariums (with drain):

• Extra-deep waterproof base for water features, ponds and false bottoms.
• Built-in bottom drain for easy water changes and draining excess misting water.
• Monsoon ready: set up for an automatic misting system (sold separately).

Which size do I need?

• Low (30cm high): desert geckos, scorpions, isopods and ground-dwelling invertebrates.
• Wide (45cm high): small lizards, terrestrial frogs, tarantulas and juvenile snakes.
• Tall (45–60cm high): tree frogs, small climbing geckos and juvenile pythons.
• X-Tall with drain (60–90cm high): paludariums, tree frog groups, leaf-tailed geckos, forest dragons and heavily planted rainforest builds.

These enclosures are pickup only from our Surry Hills store. We don’t ship them, because glass enclosures can be damaged in transit. We’ll contact you when your order is ready to collect.

Exo Terra Pro FAQ

Which Exo Terra enclosures have a drain?
The Pro Paludarium X-Tall models: 30x30x60cm, 45x45x90cm, 60x45x90cm and 90x45x90cm. Other Pro Terrarium sizes don’t have a drain.

Can I use a Pro Terrarium without a drain for a bioactive setup?
Yes. Use a drainage layer of LECA under mesh to keep excess water away from the substrate.

What’s the difference between a Pro Terrarium and a Pro Paludarium?
Pro Paludariums are the extra-tall models, with an extra-deep waterproof base and a built-in drain for water features. Pro Terrariums are the standard heights, without a drain.

Do you ship Exo Terra terrariums?
No. They’re pickup only from our Surry Hills store.

Are the enclosures checked before pickup?
Yes. Every Exo Terra Pro is leak tested by our team before it leaves the store.
